IRAN: PRISONER HANGED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
May 16, 2012: One prisoner was hanged in Zanjan (west of Tehran) early in the morning.
According to the state run news agency Fars, the prisoner who was not identified by name, was convicted of keeping and carrying 49,5 grams of Shisheh (a synthetic narcotic drug).
