PAKISTAN: MURDER ACCUSED AWARDED CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
July 10, 2012: In Pakistan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Tariq Mehmood Zargham awarded capital punishment to a convict Tahir Khan involved in the murder of one Muhammad Babar.
The judge also imposed a fine of Rs200,000 on the convict; in case of non-payment, the convict will undergo imprisonment for three more months.
According to details, Tahir had killed Muhammad Babar over a petty issue in 2009.
Later, Muhammad Amir got registered an FIR in Factory Area Police Station against the convict. The police after arresting the convict submitted challan in the court of law.
