IRAN: FOUR PRISONERS, INCLUDING THREE JUVENILE OFFENDERS, HANGED IN BANDAR ABBAS
April 17, 2014: four prisoners, including three juvenile offenders, were hanged in the prison of Bandar Abbas, reported the group Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran (HRDAI). Ahmad Rahimi, 21, was detained when he was 17 year old; Ali Fouladi, 22, has been in prison since he was 16; and Ali Sharifi, 29, since he was 14. The fourth prisoner was identified as Zargham Jahangiri, 27, and has been 5 years in prison.
The execution of a fifth prisoner was interrupted two minutes after being hanged and was postponed. He was identified as Falak Nazmoradi, 60, and has been 18 years in prison. He was reported to be in a serious condition at the prison hospital.
