IRAN: 6 PRISONERS HANGED IN ORUMIEH FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

June 11, 2015: six prisoners were hanged on charge of drug trafficking in the Central Prison of Orumieh, reported the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA). Two brothers, Ali and Osman Amini, and Mansur Fatehi Rad were executed along with three other prisoners who were not identified. HRANA’s sources said that the number of executed prisoners in the Central Prison of Orumieh since the beginning of Iranian New Year (22 March 2015) is 28, which is more than the whole number of the last year.
