JORDAN: NEW SENTENCES TO DEATH WILL BE EXECUTED
February 17, 2016: Ammon News informed that new sentences to death will be executed, including 13 people who are sentenced to death, prepared after a deep study among 80 cases who are chosen during a governmental committee for this purpose.
It is expected that those sentences to death will include expatriates who commit horrible murder crimes. The committee finished choosing the expected names who are being executed to be endorsed.
The last judgement execution in the kingdom was on February, 2015 for Sajeda al Reshawi who was convicted with Amman terrorist explosions, and the murderer of the Jordanian driver in Iraq Zeyad al Karbooly, after hours of broadcasting a horrible video by Isis of burning the martyr pilot, Mou'ath al Kasasbeh.
On December, 2014, 11 sentences to death were executed for offenders and that came after suspended sentences to death since 2006 in the kingdom. (Sources: AMMONNEWS, 17/2/2016)
