September 23, 2024: September 23, 2024 - IRAN. 4 men executed in Shiraz Central Prison (Adel Abad) on September 23.
Hassan Nejati (Hossein Nejat), Mohammadreza Nejati (Nejat), Fardin Ahmadi, and Amin Shahabi (Kurdish).
These four prisoners were all on death row for murder. Fardin Ahmadi had been arrested for a murder during a street fight four years ago, and he had committed another murder behind bars.
At the time of writing, none of their executions have been reported by domestic media in Iran.
