At dawn on October 27, two prisoners convicted of murder in separate cases were executed in Zanjan Prison.
HRANA has identified the prisoners as Taher Ganj Khanlou, a military officer from Zarrinabad in Zanjan Province, and Mohammadreza Nemati, a resident of Tarom. Both had been arrested on murder charges. As of this report, prison officials and relevant institutions have not issued an official statement regarding the executions.
