May 28, 2025: May 28, 2025 - IRAN. Shoeib Abdolhagh Mohammadi executed in Taybad on May 28.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Taybad Prison, Khorasan Razavi province, on 28 May 2025. His identity has been established as Shoeib Abdolhagh Mohammadi, a 23-year-old Afghan man from Pol-e-Khomri.
He was arrested at the age of 20 and sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
