Iranian authorities have carried out the executions of two Kurdish prisoners from Kermanshah (Kermashan), Omid Rahmani and Kamyar Najafzadeh, who had been sentenced to death on drug-related charges. The executions took place in the city’s central facility, Dizel-Abad prison.
According to information obtained by Hengaw, Rahmani, 37, and Najafzadeh were executed at dawn on September 8, 2025, in Kermanshah central prison. Both men were residents of Kermanshah.
Sources reported that Rahmani had been in custody for three years and Najafzadeh for four years on drug-related charges.
The executions had not been announced by state media.
