SAUDI ARABIA. SAUDI MAN CONVICTED OF MURDER BEHEADED BY SWORD
September 3, 2005: Saudi Arabia executed Jameel bin Abdullah bin Safar al-Fahmy, a Saudi man convicted of murdering a compatriot after a feud. The countryâs Interior Ministry said he was executed in the holy city of Mecca for fatally striking Fahd bin Maqboul bin Jarri al-Fahmy with a large baton.
