PAKISTAN. MAN EXECUTED FOR MURDER
February 16, 2007: Noor Muhammad, alias Mirch Kalhoro, was executed for murder in Larkana Central Prison, Pakistan. After the execution, Noorâs body was handed to his father for burial. Noor, a resident of Tharoodero village of Taluka and Larkana District, was convicted of killing agriculture student Fakhruddin Kalhoro 16 years ago. The Second Additional District and Sessions Judge Larkana awarded him the death sentence, and both the Sindh High Court and Pakistan Supreme Court upheld the sentence.
