MORATORIUM. PRODI: THE ITALIAN GOVERNMENT PROMOTES CIVILITY

February 27, 2007: The Italian Prime Minister, Romano Prodi, told the Senate: “Recently we have engaged in a significant battle against the death penalty. With our proposed moratorium to the UN General Assembly, we have become the leader of a grand battle for civility.”
