IRAN HANGS MAN FOR KILLING WIFE
September 1, 2008: a man convicted of killing his wife was hanged in a prison in the central Iranian city of Arak, Fars news agency reported.
The man, identified only by his initials ZK, was sent to the gallows for stabbing to death his wife and wounding his son-in-law and daughter by shooting them, it said. It said he suspected his wife was having an affair with his son-in-law. (Sources: Agence France Presse, 02/09/2008)
