INDONESIA TO SPEED UP LEGAL PROCESS OF PRISONERS ON DEATH ROW
November 14, 2008: the Indonesian Attorney General Office, which recorded 92 prisoners, 32 of them foreigners, on death row, said that the office would
speed up its legal processes, despite a call from the international community to halt the punishment, deputy for general crime of the office Abdul Hakim
Ritonga said.
"We will be active to ask them whether they would file a clemency or take other legal action," Ritonga said, adding that the legal process
without this would be rather slow. (Sources: Xinhua, 14/11/2008)
