IRAN: FIVE MEN HANGED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
July 16, 2010: According to the Kurdish news agency "Mokarian" five men were hanged in the prison of Orumieh, northwest of Iran. The men were identified as Feisal Saedi, Karam Azizi, Omid Nourani, ABdolrahman RAndi and Ali Sarban, according to the report.
These are the five people who were scheduled to be executed two weeks ago, but their execution had been postponed. All the men were charged with drug trafficking by the Iranian judiciary, said the report.
