IRAN: TWO PEOPLE HANGED IN ARAK
April 13, 2011: Two people were hanged in the prison of Arak, in central Iran.
According to the official website of the Iranian judiciary, two men identified as "Ali A." convicted of keeping and carrying 25 kilos of opium, and "Ahmad A." convicted of keeping 120 grams of concentrated heroin and buying 5 kilos and 65 grams of heroin, were hanged in the central prison of Arak.
