BONINO: GADDAFI DEATH DENIES JUSTICE

October 20, 2011: “Gaddafi did not deserve a "beautiful death" in battle, but a "beautiful trial": a fair trial by an independent court conducted in full respect of human rights, rights that for decades he denied to the thousands of Libyans during his bloody regime”, Emma Bonino, Senate Vice President and Hands Off Cain honorary President, said.
“This, and not the umpteenth bloodbath we have been forced to assist in, should have been "a great victory for the Libyan people", as most people say. However now, justice will be denied to the victims and their families. Therefore, it is imperative that Saif Al-Islam is captured alive and taken in front of the International Criminal Court. He is the last available witness to the regime's wrongdoings and web of complicity and scheming that in the last year has entangled half the world.
