PAKISTAN: ONE MORE MURDER CONVICT HANGED IN SAHIWAL
September 5, 2015: Another death row convict, Muhammad Sadiq, was hanged in the Central Jail of Sahiwal, Dunya News reported. He was executed for murdering a man named Abbas in 1999 over a property dispute.
Since the de facto ban on capital punishment ended on 17 December 2014 until 5 September 2015, at least 228 people, including twenty-five convicted terrorists, have been executed across the country. (Sources: Dunya News, Hands Off Cain, 05/09/2015)
