YEMEN: 3 SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR COLLABORATING WITH FOREIGN STATE
May 12, 2018: The Specialized Penal Court in Sanaa, chaired by Judge Abdu Rajeh, sentenced three persons to death after being convicted of collaborating with a foreign country and engaging in gangs of Al-Qaeda. The verdict convicted both of Abdurhaman Ali Ali al-Shaiba and Essam Aziz Ezzi al-Tayyb of collaborating with a foreign country and assisting the Saudi aggression state during 2015-2016 and punished them with death. The court also convicted Mohammed Sadiq Abdu Al-Mathani and Ibrahim Ali Saleh Abdullah Hizam of participating in armed gangs of Al-Qaeda organization during 2011-2014 and attacking the armed and security forces, military facilities and public property.
