Hengaw (Hengaw Organization for Human Rights), an NGO of Iranian exiles living in Norway, which has a special concern for the Kurdish minority, is publishing a lot of information about people arrested during the January 2026 riots. After the thousands of killings by which the Iranian authorities have seen fit to stop popular protest, dealing with those arrested, who face torture, heavy punishment, reprisals on family members, and even death sentences, keeping an open focus on those arrested is an important thing.
HoC does not have the resources to follow up on the hundreds of cases that Hengaw is reporting, but it invites, those who can, to visit https://hengaw.net/en/prison and raise this or that news on their socials as a sign of interest and attention from the international community.
