IRAN: FOUR MEN HANGED IN BALUCHESTAN
January 1, 2011: four men were hanged in Zahedan prison in Sistan-Baluchestan. According to the official site of the Iranian judiciary in Baluchestan, the men were convicted of kidnapping and involvement in armed clashes with the Iranian security and intelligence forces, killing one of them. The men who were executed early in the morning were identified as Mahmood Barahoei, son of Nader, Shahram Naroei, son of Jalal, Zahour Ahmad Asefdoost, son of Mohammad Sharif, Jahanbakhsh Barahoei, son of Nader, according to the report.
