IRAN: FOUR HANGED IN ISFAHAN FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
January 8, 2011: Four men were hanged in the prison of central Iranian city of Isfahan, early today.
According to the state run Iranian news agency Fars, the men were identified as "Mohammad N." convicted of keeping 940 grams and selling 10 grams of crack; "Ali K" (36 years old) for keeping 56 kilogarms og crack; "Ramezan Gh" (48 years old) for buying 40 kilograms of opium and keeping a special scale for distribution of drugs; and "Manouchehr A" for keeping 450 grams of crack and 775 kilograms of opium.
