IRAN: ONE EXECUTION IN THE PRISON OF ISFAHAN

October 8, 2011: one prisoner was executed in the prison of Isfahan, Iran.
According to the Iranian news agency ILNA, a 67 years old prisoner, who is identified as “Ahmad” and known as “the old fox” in the Iranian media, was hanged in the central prison of Isfahan. The prisoner was convicted of raping 37 women according to the official Iranian reports.
Isfahan's prosecutor, Mohammad Reza Habibi, was quoted by ILNA as saying the man "video-taped the victims at his home and used the the films for future abuses." (Sources: Nl-aid.org, 09/10/2011)
