IRAN: ONE MAN HANGED PUBLICLY
October 13, 2011: One man was hanged publicly in the town of Sardasht (Fars province, south of Iran), reported the official Iranian news agency IRNA.
The man who was not identified by name was sentenced to death convicted of sexual act (sodomy) with an eleven year old boy, and sentenced to 15 years in jail for kidnapping, according to the report. (Sources: Iran Human Rights, 13/10/2011)
