UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: FOUR WHO ESCAPED DEATH ROW RETURN HOME FROM SHARJAH
November 4, 2011: four of the seventeen Indian nationals sentenced to death in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates for murdering Pakistani national Misri Nazir Khan in 2009 arrived home following the payment of blood money. Rakesh Kumar, Sukhpal Singh, Charanjeet and Rashwinder Pal were sentenced to death by the Sharjah Court of First Instance on March 28, 2010.
