MALAYSIA: NIGERIAN TO HANG FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
March 28, 2012: The High Court in Alor Setar, Malaysia, sentenced a Nigerian man to death after finding him guilty of drug trafficking two years ago. Judicial Commissioner Mohd Zaki Abdul Wahab meted out the sentence on Sylvester Okole, 33, who was charged with trafficking cannabis weighing 11,577 grammes at Platform 8, Shahab Perdana bus terminal at 9pm on Oct 7, 2010.
