IRAN: FOUR PRISONERS EXECUTED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
April 30, 2012: Four prisoners were hanged in the prison of Shahrud, Iran, early in the morning.
According to the state run Iranian news agency ISNA, the prisoners were identified as "M. J.", "R. R.", "Ch. M." (all from Urmia) and "A. M." from Rasht. All the four prisoners were convicted of drug trafficking said the report.
According to the Kurdish news agency Kurdpa, one of those who was executed today was a Kurdish prisoner by the full name of "Changiz Majidi" son of Mohammad, a kurdish. (Sources: Iran Human Rights, 30/04/2012)
