IRAN: EIGHT MORE EXECUTIONS
October 5, 2013: Two people were hanged in public in the Iranian northern city of Babol in the morning, Fars news agency reported.
According to the report, the Iranian court has sentenced them to death penalty by hanging due to murder charges.
The sentenced men have been sentenced due to killing 4 members of a family including two kids in Babol city in 2010.
It should be noted that the father of the victims participated in executing the two convictees.
The regime's authorities had distributed leaflets on Friday (October 4) during the weekly Friday Prayers in the city urging participants to watch the public hanging. No information was given on the names and ages of those hanged in public.
On October 3, the head of Yazd Judiciary announced that five narcotics traffickers were hanged in Yazd city.
âThese convicts were charged of holding, carrying and selling 396 kilograms of narcoticsâ, the head of Yazd Judiciary said.
