PAKISTAN: ANOTHER FIVE DEATH ROW CONVICTS HANGED IN PUNJAB
October 14, 2015: five murder convicts were sent to the gallows in different jails of Punjab.
Three prisoners were executed in the District Jail of Gujrat. Salman and Shafeeq Ahmed had killed a 12-year-old child, Nasir Mahmood, after abduction in 1998 while Younis Shah was executed for murdering Ghulam Hussain in 2002.
Rana Aslam was hanged in the District Jail of Dera Ghazi Khan for killing his wife in 1996 over a family dispute.
Ghulam Mustafa was executed in the Central Jail of Faisalabad. He had murdered a female cousin in 2001.
Meanwhile, death row convict Imran Bashir was removed from the gallows in Faisalabad after an agreement with the family of deceased. Imran had killed his real paternal uncle in Chak Jhumra in 2000.
