IRAN: TEN PRISONERS HANGED ON THE SAME DAY
December 11, 2016: Ten prisoners were reportedly hanged at Rajai Shahr Prison (Alborz province, northern Iran) on murder charges.
Close sources have identified the names of two of the prisoners as Ali Jafari and Abdollah Ghaffari. The names of the other eight prisoners are not known at this time. The ten prisoners were reportedly transferred to solitary confinement on December 10 in preparation for their executions.
