IRAN: TWO MEN HANGED IN ZAHEDAN
March 3, 2009: Two men were hanged in the prison of Zahedan (south-eastern Iran) early this morning reported the state run news agency ILNA.
The men were identified as Salaheddin Seyedi and Khalilollah Zarei and were convicted of "Moharebeh" (a term used for those involved in armed struggle against the authorities) for membership in Abdolmalek Rigi group (Jondollah), according to the report.
Jondollah is an armed group fighting against the Iranian authorities in the southeastern Baluchestan province.
