IRAN: 13 HANGED FOR MURDER, DRUG TRAFFICKING
May 6, 2009: One woman and three men were hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison early this morning, reported the state run Fars news agency.
The woman identified as Zeynab Nazarzadeh (28) was convicted of murdering her husband.
The three others were identified as Hamid, Safar Ali and Hassan Ali.
On May 5, a man identified as Abdolbaret Nurzehi was executed for murder in a prison in Khash, in the eastern iranian province of Sistan Baluchestan, the Jomhuri Eslami newspaper said.
Eight people were hanged on May 2 in the prison of Taibad (eastern Iranian province of Khorasan) reported the website belonging to Iranian police news center.
The executions were taken place at 9 pm inside the prison of Taybad.
