IRAN: PAIR HANGED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
May 13, 2009: Authorities in Iran hanged two people convicted of drug trafficking in the northern city of Qazvin, the government newspaper Iran reported.
A woman, only identified by her first name Azita, 30, and a man, Mohammad, were hanged for smuggling three kilograms of crack cocaine, the report said.
